OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS will be without a few of their star players on Friday as the team heads to Winnipeg to take on the Blue Bombers.

Receiver R.J. Harris, safety Antoine Pruneau and running back Mossis Madu were among the players left off the team’s depth chart that was released on Thursday.

Kishawn McClain will start at safety this week in place of Pruneau while John Crockett will carry the load out of the backfield. Noel Thomas Jr. is in for Harris.

In four games Harris has hauled in 23 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown while Madu has collected 55 carries for 227 yards. Pruneau has amassed 12 defensive tackles and one on special teams to go along with a forced fumble so far this season.

Defensive linemen Sam Montgomery and Jonathan Newsome along with receiver Seth Coate and linebacker Nicolas Boulay are also out.

Linebacker Jeff Knox Jr. will make his REDBLACKS debut, lining up behind Avery Williams at the WILL linebacker spot.

Kickoff between the REDBLACKS and Bombers is at 8:30 p.m. ET.
