OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS added linebacker Jeff Knox Jr. to the practice roster on Tuesday.
Knox, 27, started the season with the REDBLACKS. He signed as a free agent following a 2018 season where he played eight games for the Toronto Argonauts. Ottawa released him on Aug 5. In his lone game with the team earlier this season, he recorded one tackle in a Week 8 victory over Montreal.
The Pittsburgh, PA., native has accumulated 231 tackles, three sacks, and an interception in 51 career CFL games split between the REDBLACKS, Argos, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Ottawa also added linebacker Brandon Calver, defensive back Brandin Dandridge, defensive lineman Julien Laurent, and offensive lineman D.J. Sackey to the practice roster.
The REDBLACKS will head to Mosaic Stadium for a clash with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.
