BUFFALO — The Buffalo Bills have released receiver Duke Williams, according to a report from TSN’s Dave Naylor.

Another report states that the team is interested in bringing Williams onto the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Williams was released from the Eskimos in January to pursue an opportunity south of the border, just a month before he was set to become a free agent.

In his rookie year in green and gold, the 25-year-old played in 13 games and hauled in 46 catches for 715 yards and four touchdowns.
