EDMONTON — While Edmonton Eskimos head coach Jason Maas has yet to announce his starter for the team’s Week 15 clash against Hamilton, they could have their starting signal-caller back under centre on Friday.

Quarterback Trevor Harris was wearing a helmet for the first time this week and he led the offence at practice on Wednesday, according to 630 CHED’s Morley Scott.

Harris is in the midst of a MOP-calibre campaign in his first season in Edmonton, completing 71 percent of his passes for 3,706 yards and 15 tocuhdowns with only four interceptions.

The 33-year-old left the Esks’ Week 13 game against the Calgary Stampeders in the first half after suffering an injury. He remained on the sideline but did not return to the game. Backup Logan Kilgore took over in his stead, going 21 of 28 for 242 yards with one pick.

Edmonton will welcome the Ticats to Commonwealth Stadium on Friday night. Kick-off is at 9:30 p.m. ET.
