VANCOUVER — The BC Lions will have a different look out of the backfield when they take on the Ottawa REDBLACKS on Saturday.
Running back John White will make his return to the lineup.
The 28-year-old has missed the Lions’ previous two games with an injury. In 10 games this season, White has rushed for 559 yards and five touchdowns while adding 222 yards and a score on 26 catches.
However, the Lions won’t be at full strength in this contest, as Brandon Rutley was placed on the one-game injured list in another move. The backup has 288 yards on 56 carries in nine games this season. Against Ottawa in Week 15, Rutley rushed for 111 yards on 20 carries.
The Leos and REDBLACKS will go head-to-head in a rematch of their Week 14 clash. The final game of the Week 15 slate will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
