Esks’ Orange placed on 1-game injured list

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos will be down a starter against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday.

Defensive back Anthony Orange has been placed on the one-game injured list. Through eight games this season, he’s posted 26 tackles and an interception.

As a result of the injury, Josh Johnson will make the switch to short-side corner while Tyquwan Glass will come in to start at wide corner.

Johnson, 29, has 32 tackles, one sack and two interceptions while appearing in all 14 games this season for the Esks. Glass has 19 tackles and a pair of picks in 10 games this season.

The Eskimos will travel to Tim Hortons Field on Friday for their Week 17 game against the Tabbies. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. ET.
