REGINA — Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Jordan Williams-Lambert will make his season debut on Saturday.

The 25-year-old spent the entirety of the 2018 campaign with the Riders. He finished with 764 yards and four touchdowns on 62 receptions en route to being named the West Division’s Most Outstanding Rookie.

Williams-Lambert returned to the Riders following his release from the Chicago Bears in August. He signed an extension with the team in September and has been working over the last few weeks to get back into the swing of things.

He’ll join a passing attack that already features Shaq Evans, Kyran Moore, Naaman Roosevelt, Cory Watson, and Emmanuel Arceneaux.

Evans is nearing his first 1,000-yard receiving campaign in the CFL while Moore and Roosevelt each have over 600 yards on the campaign.

The Riders will welcome the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to Mosaic Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off for the third and final meeting of the regular season between the two rivals is a 4:00 p.m. ET.
