S.J. Green surpasses 10,000 career receiving yards

TORONTO — S.J. Green hit a major milestone in his career on Friday night.

With his 19-yard grab late in the second quarter, the veteran Toronto Argonauts receiver surpassed 10,000 receiving yards. The 34-year-old became just the 18th player in CFL history to surpass the 10k mark.

Green finished the night against the Ottawa REDBLACKS with 170 yards on 10 catches.

Before joining the Argonauts in 2017, the six-foot-two, 217-pound pass-catcher spent 10 seasons with the Montreal Alouettes. He has been named an East Division All-Star seven times (2011-2015, 2017 and 2018) and won three Grey Cups (2009, 2010, 2017).
