TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts have placed receiver Derel Walker on the one-game injured list.

The 28-year-old has posted 65 receptions for 1,040 yards and six touchdowns in his first campaign with the double blue.

S.J. Green, Armanti Edwards, Rodney Smith, and Jimmy Ralph will be the starting receivers for the Argos. Chandler Worthy has been brought up to the active roster to replace Walker.

Worthy, 26, signed on with the Argonauts back in 2017 and has been with the organization ever since, featuring predominantly on the practice roster over that span. In five career games with the Boatmen, he has a pair of receptions for 20 yards while adding 205 yards on 21 combined kick and punt returns.

Toronto made several other changes ahead of Friday’s game against the Montreal Alouettes. Defensive back Shaquille Richardson, who signed with the Argos on Tuesday, will make his debut as the starting field corner while running back AJ Ouellette will play in his first CFL game.

The Argos will travel to Percival-Molson Memorial Stadium on Friday night for a clash with the Als that will open up Week 19 action. The two teams will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
