Bombers re-sign American receiver Carlton Agudosi

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed American receiver Carlton Agudosi, the team announced on Wednesday. Agudosi spent 2021 on the club’s practice roster.

Agudosi (6-6, 220, Rutgers, February 1, 1994 in Somerset, NJ) was originally signed in April of last season. Agudosi signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017, spending the season there before signing with Philadelphia in 2019.

He played 45 games in his career at Rutgers, recording 35 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns. Prior to signing with Winnipeg, he was with St. Louis of XFL.

The team also announced that they have signed American receiver Lucky Jackson.

Jackson (6-1, 190, Western Kentucky, July 17, 1997, 1994 in Lexington, KY) spent four seasons at Western Kentucky, becoming one of the best wideouts in school history. He recorded 94 receptions for 1,133 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season, while being named First Responder Bowl MVP after a 17 catch performance. For his collegiate career, his 209 catches stand second all-time and 2,680 yards are third, while his nine 100-yard receiving games are tied for second. He registered 13 touchdowns during four seasons at WKU.
