REDBLACKS release LB Patrick Levels

OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS announced on Tuesday morning that they have released American linebacker Patrick Levels.

The 28-year-old suited up in 13 games with the REDBLACKS during the 2022 season, posting 59 total tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble.

A CFL All-Star in 2019, Levels has 222 tackles, 12 sacks, a pair of interceptions, three forced fumbles and one touchdown through 68 career games that cover five seasons.

Levels spent two years with the Montreal Alouettes (2019, 2021) and the Calgary Stampeders (2017, 2018), helping Calgary to the 2019 Grey Cup.
