CFL.ca Game Notes: White, ‘Cats looking for first Argos’ sweep since ’19
TORONTO — Tim White knows a thing or two about playing against the Toronto Argonauts.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver is in his fourth season with the team and has faced their Southern Ontario rivals plenty of times, including twice this season.
The Black and Gold have yet to lose to the Boatmen in 2024 and White is a big reason why. The pass-catcher caught five passes for 66 yards in Week 7 to lead Hamilton to a 27-24 win, their first of the season. White then doubled it up on OK Tire Labour Day Weekend by going off with six catches for 180 yards and two majors as the ‘Cats took down the Argos 31-28.
Overall, White has caught 11 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns in two games against Toronto this season. Can he help Hamilton complete their first season sweep against the Argonauts since 2019?
