There’s a new owner of the celly crown and they go by the name of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
By an overwhelming 87 per cent, you decided you liked the Bombers Hippo celly more than Diontae Spencer and Trevor Harris’ Shoot Dance.
This week the Bombers go head to head with Edmonton Eskimos running back Jordan Robinson and his LeBron James tribute.
First, let’s get a quick reminder of The Hippo.
At the start of the second quarter against the BC Lions, the Bombers were on the BC four yard line. Andrew Harris took the direct snap on first down and rumbled into the end zone where he began the celebration and his teammates joined in.

My buddy and colleague, Don Landry, tweeted at the Bombers asking what we were all thinking:
Hey, @Wpg_BlueBombers, @andrewharris33 … what IS this called?? 😂 Solomon Elimimian seems perplexed as well. #CFLGameDay #CFLcelly pic.twitter.com/62HQYWvQqD

And the Bombers responded with this:
This is called ‘the hippo’, @CFLLandry.

And so this celly was dubbed, The Hippo. Incredible.
Now for the Eskimos.
The Esks were trailing 3-0 with just over four minutes left in the second quarter. On the Argos 20 yard line, Mike Reilly handed off to Jordan Robinson who scampered 30 yards into the end zone for the score.
Then, in true LeBron fashion, Robinson used the ball as his chalk, shook it onto his hands and threw it in the air. So good.
