BC at Winnipeg

Recap: Winnipeg 32, BC 16

The Blue Bombers hold the best record in the CFL at 7-2 with the victory, while the Lions lost their fifth straight contest.

Matt Nichols leaves game with shoulder injury

While Bombers Matt Nichols was scrambling to his right, Lions defensive end Shawn Lemon took him down from behind. Nichols got up favouring his right shoulder and left the game right after.

Andrew Harris makes CFL history

Blue Bombers running back Andrew Harris made CFL history becoming the all-time leader in yards from scrimmage by a Canadian player.

Lions trick play leads to touchdown

Duron Carter got things going with a 56-yard yard bomb to fellow receiver Lemar Durant that fooled the Bombers defence. Two plays later, running back John White found the end zone to hand BC their first lead of the contest.

Bombers score on opening drive

Montreal at Calgary

Recap: Montreal 40, Calgary 34

In what turned out to be an instant classic and game-of-the-year candidate, Montreal was able to erase an 11-point Calgary lead late in the 4th and beat the Stampeders in overtime for their first win in Calgary since 2009.

In a back and forth OT thriller, Vernon Adams Jr. had the last laugh as his second rushing score of the game proved to be the winner after Calgary failed to score a touchdown

Als erase late deficit to force overtime

Down 11 with 1:40 to go, Vernon Adams Jr. led the Alouettes on a touchdown drive of nearly the length of the field. Montreal then added a two-point conversion, recovered the onside kick, and forced overtime on Boris Bede field goal.
