In collaboration with the Edmonton Elks, the CFL is proud to present the inaugural Coach of the Year Celebration, an unforgettable evening in support of Football Alberta – where leadership, legacy, and the future of Canadian football take centre stage.
Ahead of the 2026 CFL Combine presented by Anytime Fitness in Edmonton March 27-29, this exclusive event brings all nine CFL teams together under one roof for a powerful night of inspiration, celebration, and community impact. Hosted by Chris Scheetz, the evening will honour the exceptional coaches, rising stars, and football leaders who define our game, including award presentations for:
Coach of the Year Award – nominees: Jason Maas (Montréal Alouettes) and Corey Mace (Saskatchewan Roughriders)
Hugh Campbell Distinguished Leadership Award – honouring those who have demonstrated great leadership and made significant contributions to the CFL.
Ted Goveia Football Operations Award – honouring the legacy of Ted’s esteemed career with the CFL.
