Commissioner Ambrosie makes a ‘house call’ to CFB Halifax
HALIFAX — CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie used some of his time in Halifax for this year’s Touchdown Atlantic game to visit with local members of the Canadian Armed Forces, as part of a long-standing partnership.
Ambrosie visited the CFB Halifax Base on Wednesday, July 26 — meeting and chatting with a number of Canadian Armed Forces figures — ahead of Friday’s CFL and CAF-hosted reception for Touchdown Atlantic.
Ambrosie met with the following members as part of his ‘office calls’:
- Commander MARLANT (RAdm Josee Kurtz)
- Chief Petty Officer first class Mondelli
- Cdr Kyle Penney, Commander of HMCS Scotian
- Chief Petty Officer Second Class Nadeau, HMCS Scotian
- 5th Canadian Division Commander Bgen Stephane Masson
- Chief Warrant Officer Mark Von Kalben
In addition to these visits, the Commissioner met with upward of 60 naval students for a lively Q&A session.
