Thompson, Knapton fined after Week 15 action

The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced two fines after Week 15 action on Wednesday.

TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced two fines after Week 15 action on Wednesday.

BC Lions defensive back Anthony Thompson was fined for delivering a blow to the head of Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Terrence Toliver.

Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Gabriel Knapton was fined for delivering a blow to the head of Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Kienan LaFrance.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
