With the introduction of CFL Preseason Live and CFL+, there is a growing number of viewing options for CFL fans in Canada, the United States and around the world that includes the league’s longstanding partners TSN and RDS and now features CBS Sports Network. What follows is a brief outline of the CFL’s 2023 broadcast offering.

The complete 2023 season broadcast schedule for TSN, RDS, CBS Sports Network and CFL+ will be announced prior to the season kicking off on Thursday, June 8 when the BC Lions travel to McMahon Stadium to visit the Calgary Stampeders.

TSN BROADCAST INFORMATION

The CFL ON TSN will provide its award-winning, wall-to-wall coverage for the 2023 season. Canada’s sports leader will be with you from the June 8 season opener in Calgary between the Stampeders and the BC Lions at McMahon Stadium, all the way through to the presentation of the 110th Grey Cup in Hamilton on November 19, 2023.

RDS BROADCAST INFORMATION

RDS, diffuseur francophone exclusif de la LCF et des Alouettes de Montréal, diffusera près d’une cinquantaine de matchs de la saison 2023. En plus de présenter les 18 matchs des Alouettes de Montréal en saison régulière, RDS diffusera 17 rencontres du ROUGE et NOIR d’Ottawa ainsi qu’une douzaine de matchs impliquant les autres équipes de la Ligue. À cela s’ajoute la présentation de tous les matchs éliminatoires et de la 110e Coupe Grey, qui se déroulera le dimanche 19 novembre au Terrain Tim Hortons de Hamilton. Une émission d’avant-match de 30 minutes précédera chacune des parties des Alouettes.

L’équipe composée de David Arsenault, Pierre Vercheval, Matthieu Proulx, Bruno Heppell, Didier Orméjuste et Danny Desriveaux sera chargée de la description et de l’analyse de tous les matchs.

Tout au long de la saison, ALOUETTES EXPRESS proposera aux amateurs de voir le plus récent match des Alouettes en 60 minutes.

THE CFL ON CBS SPORTS NETWORK/INTERNATIONAL STREAMING AND CFL+

The 2023 CFL season will reach more American and international fans through CBS Sports Network and the league’s new free, online live streaming platform – CFL+.

In the United States, CBS Sports Network will exclusively carry 34 games. The 24-hour home of CBS Sports is available through all major cable, satellite and telco distributors, as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, DirecTV and Hulu. A live stream is available online through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App.

CFL+ will broadcast the remaining 47 regular season games, the Grey Cup Playoffs and the 110th Grey Cup championship.

Viewers outside of North America will have access to the entirety of the 2023 season via CFL+.

CFL PRESEASON LIVE 

For the first time ever, all non-broadcasted preseason games were made available to stream through CFL Preseason Live to all fans across North America and internationally.

In Canada, three preseason games were exclusively slated for TSN and/or RDS; those broadcasts were be made available outside of Canada on CFL Preseason Live. The online platform carried the six remaining contests for all viewers. The CFL worked together with the host club of each game to broadcast the in-stadium video feed, while play-by-play and analysis was provided by local crews.
