Pre-Game Tailgate Party
Location: Huskies Stadium, Saint Mary’s University – 923 Robie St; Access from the corner of Inglis Street and Tower Rd.
Timing: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Access: Entrance with a Touchdown Atlantic game day ticket only. Due to capacity limitations, the pre-game tailgate is first-come, first-serve – arrive early! Open to all ages.

Prior to kickoff, fans attending the game are invited to kickstart the day’s festivities at the Touchdown Atlantic Tailgate Party from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Huskies Stadium. The afternoon event will feature live music, food trucks serving a variety of East Coast fare, and several partner activations for family-friendly fun.

Situated within the tailgate, the SiriusXM Touchdown Atlantic Stage will welcome artists from across the East Coast to celebrate the ability of sports and music to bring communities together. Artists taking the stage from 1:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. will include:

Purolator Tackle Hunger Program
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and/or to make monetary/tap donations to the game in support of the Purolator Tackle Hunger® program, which raises awareness, food and funds for local food banks across Canada. Purolator will be onsite at Touchdown Atlantic, located outside of Gates 1-4. Since its inception in 2003, the Purolator Tackle Hunger program has delivered more than 20 million pounds of goods to food banks across Canada.

Halftime Entertainment
Provided courtesy of McKinnon Dance and Friends. Under the direction of Angela McKinnon since 2007, McKinnon Dance is a Highland and Step Dance School based on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Game Day Public Transportation
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic and delays. Public transportation options are available and highly encouraged to get to/from Huskies Stadium – Saint Mary’s University. Rideshare and/or taxi options are also strongly encouraged.

On Saturday, July 29, fans travelling to Huskies Stadium – Saint Mary’s University for Touchdown Atlantic can take advantage of public transportation options via Halifax Transit routes 4, 10, 24 and 29 – providing service in and around Inglis Street (inbound and outbound).

Additionally, Halifax Transit will be running 15-minute service on route 1 with additional trips being offered during the event.

Please note: these routes may be detoured to South Street (located one block North of Inglis Street) due to traffic congestion during Touchdown Atlantic. Real time information on bus detours and bus schedule adherence is always available on third-party applications with IOS and Android devices.


Fan Drop-Off / Rideshare
Located on the West side of Huskies Stadium, the best address to give for game day drop-off and pick-up is: 923 Robie Street.


Parking
With no parking onsite, use of public transportation, rideshare and/or taxi options for fans to travel to and from the game is strongly encouraged.

Bag Policy
To ensure a safe environment for the public, eliminate unnecessary contact at entry gates, and to accelerate fan entry into the stadium, the CFL strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bags. If required, bags must not exceed 14” x 6” x 14”. All bags will subject to inspection upon entry. Fans without bags may use a dedicated “No Bag” lane, designed for faster entry. This entry gate is located at Gate 1 with entrance at the Inglis Street and Tower Rd. intersection.


Cashless Venue
As part of our commitment to a contactless guest experience, all purchases for Touchdown Atlantic will be cashless transactions.


Box Office
Pending availability, Touchdown Atlantic tickets can be purchased onsite at the Box Office on game day, Saturday, July 29. The Box Office is located inside the Homburg Centre (920 Tower Rd) and will be open starting at 1:00 p.m. and closed following the conclusion of halftime.


Game Day Weather
The game will proceed come rain or shine, so please come prepared accordingly (sunscreen, hat, rain coat, etc.). Please refer to the Game Day Venue Policies for a list of prohibited and permitted items.
