Lions RB Jamall Lee calls it a career

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions Football Club announced today that running back Jamall Lee has indicated that he will retire from professional football.

“Jamall has informed the club that it is his desire to retire from football,” said VP of football operations and GM Wally Buono. “We thank him for his contributions to our organization and wish him the very best in the future.”

Lee was a first-round selection of the Lions in the 2009 CFL Draft. He appeared in 32 games over three seasons and recorded six carries for 18 yards along with 11 receptions for 133 yards.
