2015 CFL.ca Mid-Season All-Star Team

TORONTO — The midway mark of the season has arrived for eight of nine CFL teams, and through 10 weeks of action there have been some noteworthy accomplishments. While some names are familiar and others are new on the scene, our CFL.ca writers delve into this season’s leading performers thus far at each position.

Four players, Andrew Harris, Herome Messam, S.J. Green and Eric Rogers were unanimous picks among writers. Only two quarterbacks were chosen with Zach Collaros getting the popular vote, the leading pivot among five CFL.ca writers. 

Rookie receiver Vidal Hazelton has made a splash as the CFL’s fourth-leading receiver and his impact hasn’t gone under the radar, earning the nod from four different writers. But he was outdone by fellow rookie John Ojo, getting five votes as a rookie cornerback helping lead the league-leading Eskimos’ defence.

Richie Leone led the way among special teamers with five votes as a punter while another rookie in Boris Bede gets the nod as the kicker.
