REGINA — Chris Milo has decided to stay planted in Regina, inking a new deal with the Roughriders on Tuesday. Last season, Milo was the CFL’s most accurate kicker, making good on 46 of 52 field goal attempts, good for 88.5%. Heading into Tuesday, Milo was ranked no. 20 on CFL.ca’s Top 20 Free Agents List.
He began the season by making 28 consecutive field goal attempts, tying a Riders franchise record. The Laval product was named CFL Special Teams Player of the Month for August.
In 44 career games the 27-year-old Milo has made 79 of 95 field goal attempts (83.2%) and all 85 convert attempts.
He collected his first Grey Cup championship as a member of the 2013 Saskatchewan Roughriders.
