EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos have brought back veteran defensive back Aaron Grymes, the team announced Wednesday.

Grymes, 26, spent three seasons with the Green and Gold, earning West Division and CFL All-Star status in 2015 in addition to winning the Grey Cup.

Over the span of three CFL seasons, Grymes appeared in 43 games, recording 101 tackles, one quarterback sack, eight interceptions – one for a touchdown, and one fumble recovery.

Grymes signed a deal with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles in 2016.

The Eskimos, 7-5, are on their bye in Week 14, but will look to get back in the win column vs. the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Sept. 30 after losing five straight contests.
