REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added national receiver Mitchell Picton to the practice roster, the team announced Wednesday.

The Regina Rams product was drafted by the Riders in the 2017 CFL Draft in the fifth round, 37th overall.
The 21-year-old finished second in U Sports in receptions (58) and receiving yards (834) in 2016 and led the country with 11 touchdown receptions. He was ranked in the CFL Scouting Bureau’s Top-20 Rankings in December.
Saskatchewan is preparing to take on the Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Final at BMO Field on Sunday.
