Riders, Moore agree to extension

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian fullback Spencer Moore to a two-year contract extension, the team announced on Tuesday.

Moore played in all 18 games for the Riders in 2017 and caught seven passes for 85 yards in his fifth season with the team.

Over 63 career games in Riderville, the 27-year-old has played in 63 games and hauled in 19 passes for 164 yards.

The six-foot-four, 230-pounder was drafted by Saskatchewan in the fifth round, 44th overall in the 2013 CFL Draft. Before his CFL career, Moore played for the McMaster Mauraders and was part of the 47th Vanier Cup championship team.
