EDMONTON — Edmonton Eskimo General Manager and Director of Football Operations Danny Maciocia announced today that defensive lineman Adam Braidwood has been placed on the 9 game INJ list.

Braidwood, the Esks’ first round (first overall) selection in the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft, suffered a knee injury in the second to last game of the 2007 regular season and did not play in 2008.  Maciocia says “Adam’s off-season training program involved a lot of running and the knee had a tendency to swell up. He’ll undergo further tests to determine the best course of action”

The Eskimos also announced that defensive back Anthony Malbrough has chosen not to report to training camp and linebacker Ryan Glasper will not report because of a medical condition.

The Edmonton Eskimos have also announced that they have released import defensive backs Brandent Englemon, Tyler Everett and Darnell Terrell and import linebacker Rory Johnson.
