TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders have reached a deal that will send import OT Cliff Washburn from Toronto to Saskatchewan in exchange for a fifth round draft pick in the 2010 CFL Draft and a conditional pick in the 2011 CFL Draft.
Washburn originally joined the Argos in 2006 and played in, and started, nine games for Toronto at left and right tackle. He also started the 2006 East Final. The Citadel product reported back to Toronto on September 21 but did not dress for a game this season.
