MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The Toronto Argonauts Football Club added to its defence today by signing import defensive ends Alex Buzbee and Ejiro Kuale.

Buzbee is an athletically gifted lineman from Georgetown who spent the past three years with the NFL’s Washington Redskins. He joined Washington as an undrafted free agent in 2007 and was eventually signed to the team’s practice squad. Coaches took note of his hard work and he was invited to 2008 training camp. He suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on the first day of camp but worked his way back and was invited to Redskins’ 2009 camp before being released as a final cut.

Ejiro Kuale played two seasons at Louisiana State University and was in training camp with the Calgary Stampeders last season. He’s also been to training camps with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs. Kuale, who also suited up for Dodge City Community College, was named All-Conference and Third-Team All-Junior College.

The Argonauts also announced today that import quarterback Stephen Reaves has been released.
