Lions add McCullough, Graham, release three

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions Football Club announced today that imports Ronnie McCullough and Tyrell Graham have signed with the team and will attend BC Lions rookie camp slated to begin in Kamloops, BC on Thursday, June 2nd.

McCullough played two seasons at Bethune-Cookman after transferring from the University of South Florida in 2005.

As a senior in 2007, he the Wildcats with 59 solo tackles and 20 tackles for loss. His efforts earned him Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Defensive Player of the Year honours and a five-week string of Defensive Player of the Week awards. As a junior transfer in 2006, he stepped into the starting lineup and appeared in nine games notching 33 solo stops, good enough for second on the squad.

Graham played two seasons at Houston as a key member of the Cougars’ defence and appeared in 26 games recording a total of 38 tackles and eight sacks.

As a senior in 2009, Graham was a team leader with 11 tackles for a loss, including seven sacks. The lofty numbers earned him an All-Conference USA Second Team nod at outside linebacker.

The Lions also announced that wide receiver O’Neil Wilson, offensive lineman Joe McGrath and defensive lineman Jeremy Geathers have been released by the club.
