TMI: Get the lowdown on Ticats’ C.J. Gable
If he could be a Power Ranger, C.J. Gable doesn’t care if he’d be the White or Green one. (Note: both are the same guy, Tommy, who actually has been five different coloured Rangers and is considered the greatest Power Ranger of all time – don’t ask me how I know this.)
I think the white would be best – the uniform is the same colours as C.J.’s team, the Tiger-Cats (see below for what he’d look like if he was a Power Ranger instead of a football player).
I asked C.J. what he would want to be doing if he actually wasn’t playing football and no, he didn’t say morph into a superhero and fight Ivan Ooze or Rita Repulsa.. again, don’t ask me how I know these villain’s names.
What does he like to do when he’s not playing football, what former teammate would he take to a deserted island with him and who, living or dead, would he want to have dinner with?

Kristina Costabile: Tell me something no one would know about you.
C.J. Gable: I like to draw. I draw basically whatever comes to me. I really don’t have a preference. It’s whatever I feel like at the moment.
KC: What do you like to do in your spare time?
CG: Play video games, sometimes I like to go out for walks by myself just to clear my mind.
KC: What’s your favourite video game?
CG: At the moment it’s Destiny.
KC: What’s on your pregame playlist?
CG: I like to listen to a lot of Eminem before games.
KC: I know you’re a big fan of the Power Rangers so I have to ask, which colour Power Ranger would you be?
CG: It’d have to be the green one or the white one! I can’t choose. It has to be one of those two. Either or, I’ll be fine with one of those two.
C.J.’s next Halloween costume, perhaps?
KC: If you were stranded on a deserted island, who would you want with you?
CG: He’s not on my team any more but I’d have to say Joel Figueroa! (Editors note: Joel now plays for the Edmonton Eskimos.)
KC: What are three things you’d bring with you to that island?
CG: Well, what do they have there?
KC: Nothing! It’s a hot deserted island, there’s nothing but sand and water.
CG: I’ll probably being an art book. I’ll bring a first aid kit and I’ll bring a toothbrush.
KC: If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
CG: Michael Jackson!
KC: If you weren’t a football player, what would you be doing?
CG: A fireman or a probation officer.
