Ticats add injured Toliver to 6-game

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be without Terrence Toliver for at least the next little while. The veteran receiver was added to the 6-game injured list on Monday following an apparent knee injury during the season-opener.

The Ticats also announced they’ve brought back defensive back Ethan Davis, who was acquired in an off-season trade before being released in camp.

There’s been no official word on the severity of Toliver’s injury. The 29-year-old exited the Ticats’ season-opening loss vs. Toronto on June 25 after making just one catch for five yards.

Last season, Toliver ranked second on the Ticats with 1,036 yards on 65 catches to go with a team-leading nine touchdowns.

The Ticats take on the Riders in their first visit to new Mosaic Stadium on Saturday.
