OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS have released international defensive backs Imoan Claiborne and C.J. Roberts, the team announced Monday.
Claiborne was in his second season with the REDBLACKS and had suited up in 12 games over that span, collecting 40 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles and one interception.
Roberts did not play a game in 2017 but suited up for seven in Winnipeg in 2016. He collected 26 special teams tackles, two interceptions and one touchdown as a member of the Blue Bombers.
