TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts announced Tuesday that they have parted ways with international receiver Khalil Paden.
Paden signed with the Argos as a free agent in the off-season and recorded nine receptions for 107 yards in four starts.
Paden signed with the Boatmen after spending parts of the last three seasons with the Ottawa REDBLACKS. Appearing in 19 regular season games, he has caught 39 passes for 626 yards and a touchdown.
The 26-year old receiver finished his college career at Northern Arizona after transferring from San Jose State. In 21 games for the Lumberjacks, he hauled in 81 passes for 1,191 yards and nine touchdowns. The 2011 Honorable Mention All-Big Sky selection led his team in receptions (61), receiving yards (991) and touchdowns (8) as a senior.
