REGINA — Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Chris Jones says quarterback Kevin Glenn could be a game-time decision in Week 13.
Glenn exited in the third quarter of last week’s Banjo Bowl loss in Winnipeg with an injury to his throwing hand.
“Right now it’s day-to-day,” said Jones. “We know it’s not broken so it’s just a matter of what KG can handle, and we’ll make sure our other guys are ready if not.”
Canadian quarterback Brandon Bridge will make his first start as a Rider if Glenn can’t go.
Still, the fact that Glenn’s throwing hand is not broken is a positive for the Green and White. Glenn, 38, is enjoying an MOP-type season, with 21 touchdown passes and 3,057 yards to his name.
The Riders are in action on Friday when they visit the Ticats at Tim Hortons Field.
