WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will have their star quarterback under centre this weekend for the Western Semi-Final.
According to a report from CJOB’s Bob Irving, Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea said that Matt Nichols will play on Sunday.

Nichols suffered a lower body injury in the first quarter of the team’s Week 19 contest against the BC Lions on a non-contact play. He missed Winnipeg’s season finale against the Stampeders last week.
The Bombers hope to defeat the Edmonton Eskimos this weekend in their first home playoff game since 2011.
