If you follow TSN’s Farhan Lalji on social media you already know, but for those that don’t Farhan spends tons of his free time as the head coach of the New Westminster Hyacks, a high school football club located New Westminster, BC.
This past weekend they competed in the Subway Bowl and came away as the AAA provincial champions for BC!
The final football game of the year in Canada was the most exciting! @HyackFootball wins #SubwayBowl on a Hail Mary & 2-pt convert with no time left. I love these guys! #champions #SHARP @BCHSFB pic.twitter.com/45aefpzPg2

Wow, so I guess it really did happen! A high school game isn't official until @htsumura says it is. Thanks for covering @BCHSFB all season, for so many seasons. #SubwayBowl https://t.co/S69AjsvAoN

Not only did they win, but they won in stunning end-of-game fashion by going for two to win it all!
