OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS made a series of roster moves on the eve of training camp Saturday night, including the addition of veteran safety Dan West.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defensive back from Ajax, Ont. attended Bishop’s University before going undrafted in the 2012 CFL Draft. He’s also played with Winnipeg and Saskatchewan.

The REDBLACKS also announced the signing of international linebacker Ezekien Bigger. The 25-year-old comes to the REDBLACKS after playing in 51 games over four seasons at East Carolina, recording 333 total tackles. He signed as a free agent with the Carolina Panthers after attending mini-camp in 2017.

The team also announced it has released three players:

– National defensive lineman Cameron Walker (Guelph)
– National offensive lineman Daniel Hayes (Queen’s)
– International defensive lineman Tony Washington (Oregon)
