Ticats add RB White to practice roster; release WR Aultman

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Wednesday the football club has added international free agent running back John White to the practice roster.

White, 26, played two games with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2017, registering 20 carries for 112 yards and one touchdown, while adding two receptions for four yards. In 41 career Canadian Football League games – all with the Eskimos – from 2013 to 2017, the 5-8, 186-pound running back has compiled 376 carries for 2,110 yards and 12 touchdowns, and 84 receptions for 736 yards and four touchdowns. He was named a CFL and West Division All-Star in 2014.

Before turning pro, White played 24 games at the University of Utah from 2011 to 2012. The Torrance, California native recorded 534 carries for 2,560 yards and 23 touchdowns, and added 28 receptions for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
