Stamps Home Opener + a chance at some $$$

Earlier this week Calgary announced a massive winnings for thier home opener 50/50 draw. The press release went as follows:

In addition to watching the Stampeders kick off the 2018 Canadian Football League season, fans attending the Stamps’ game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at McMahon Stadium on Saturday will have an opportunity to take home a bundle of cash.

The pot for the 50/50 at the home-opener – kickoff is at 5 p.m. – begins at $85,000 and is expected to easily exceed $100,000. That amount will grow with every ticket sold, with the winner taking home half the final total.

Tickets can be purchased throughout McMahon Stadium from the moment the gates open to the conclusion of the third quarter with 50 per cent of the funds going to amateur football through the Stampeders Foundation.
