Off The Cuff: Arrive In Style

The 2018 season is here for real and that means that players are showing up, on and off the field,  in a real way. If you don’t know, player arrivals are sort of a thing. Guys often use their travel days and media appearances before the game to show off their personality and wear their nicer clothes that aren’t as suited to shuffling to and from practice.

For week 1 of CFL action we did not need to wait long because the reining MOP Mike Reilly arrived in Winnipeg decked. I asked Mike about his hat game and he said his wife Emily is responsible for the whole look and if you’re wondering, no there is no hat box, but the hat basically gets its own overhead compartment on the plane. Emily Reilly I think you crushed this look, I love it and the fans agree – it was all the buzz on social media on Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We cannot wait to see the Mike Reilly hat watch continue this season…how is he not going to repeat a hat?!

 

The Toronto Argonauts arrived in Regina for their game against the Riders and they were looking pretty swag getting onto the plane. I especially loved Shawn Lemon’s blue NASA shirt and matching blue pants.
