EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos have beefed up their offensive line, announcing the signing of former all-star international guard Travis Bond.

Bond was a significant signing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in free agency last February but was one of a number of big-name cuts when training camp broke.

Bond played in 16 games for the Bombers last season and helped anchor an offensive line in Winnipeg that saw Andrew Harris finish 2017 with the league’s most rushing yards.

The 27-year-old was listed as the 13th ranked free agent on CFL.ca’s top 30 pending free agents back in February.

The Eskimos also announced Monday that they signed former Riders defensive lineman Rakim Cox and offensive lineman Kevin Palmer.
