Which touchdown celebration was best through Week 3?

There’s a new celly winner in town and it’s courtesy of the Ottawa REDBLACKS.

62 per cent of you voted that you liked the Trevor Harris and Diontae Spencer’s unison Shoot dance more than the Riders swaggy sway.

This week, the REDBLACKS have a new opponent – Duke Williams’ alley-oop.

First, let’s remind ourselves of Harris and Spencer’s dance.

It was midway through the third quarter on second and four at midfield. Trevor Harris aired it out to Diontae Spencer, who was being covered by none other than Duron Carter. Spencer beat the receiver-turned-corner and stayed inside the lines to run it into the end zone for the score.

Harris ran full speed down the field to meet up with the self-proclaimed Celly King to do The Shoot Dance in unison with him. Incredible.

Now for the challenger.

It was first and 10, two minutes left in the third quarter and the Eskimos were leading the BC Lions 23-14. Edmonton was on their own side of midfield and Mike Reilly aired it out to Williams who ran in 24 yards after the catch for the 64-yard score.

Then the magic happened.

Williams gave the ball to Alexandre Dupuis to help him out with the celly. Dupuis tossed the ball, Williams jumped and put it through the imaginary hoop. Alley-oop.
