MONTREAL — According to TSN’s Matthew Scianitti, Johnny Manziel is missing from Montreal Alouettes practice Wednesday for the second straight day.
The Alouettes revealed Wednesday that Manziel is going through concussion protocol.
The Alouettes are preparing for their second and final matchup of the year with the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday at the Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
Manziel is coming off his second CFL start where he completed 16 of 26 passes for 168 yards.
With Vernon Adams, Drew Willy and Jeff Mathews all on the shelf, Antonio Pipkin took first-team reps on Tuesday according to Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette.
