Which touchdown celebration was best through Week 10?

Will the Hippo ever lose?

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Hippo celebration is still your favourite celly of the season.

64 per cent of you voted for the Hippo while 19 like Nic Demski‘s page-turner and 17 liked Kevin Elliott‘s selfie.

This week the Hippo goes head-to-head with Saskatchewan Roughrider Sam Eguavoen and his nap in the end zone.

Let’s first get a reminder of The Hippo (although at this point, I’m sure you all remember).

At the start of the second quarter against the BC Lions, the Bombers were on the BC four yard line. Andrew Harris took the direct snap on first down and rumbled into the end zone where he began the celebration and his teammates joined in. And so, The Hippo was born.

And now for the Nap.

It was almost midway through the second quarter and the Riders were up 14-6 on the Stampeders. Eguavoen snuck through defenders and blocked Rob Maver‘s punt, hauled it in himself and ran it 30 yards into the end zone for the score.

He then laid down, used the football as a pillow, and pretended to take a nap. Because naps are life.
