SURREY — The BC Lions receiving offence has taken a massive hit as the club has confirmed they have placed former all-star receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux on the six-game injured list with a torn ACL in his right knee.

The injury occurred in the first half of last Saturday’s loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Prior to the injury, Arceneaux was on pace for another 1,000-yard season –the fifth of his career — racking up 553 yards on 32 receptions.

Since joining the league in 2009, Arceneaux has been one of the most productive receivers of the last decade, posting more than 8,000 yards and 55 touchdowns in his 129 games with the Leos.

BC sits fifth in the West Division and is on the bye week before returning to action in Week 13 with a matchup with the Montreal Alouettes.
