One of my favourite parts of the CFL season is here!
This Saturday marks the first of FOUR tripleheaders this season. Yes, that means there are three games for you to watch on one day – that’s almost 10 hours of CFL football. And I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!
Things get started in Toronto as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats pay visit to the Argonauts for the Mark’s Labour Day Weekend rematch. Then we head to Winnipeg for the Banjo Bowl between the Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders. And finally Week 13 finishes up in Edmonton as the Calgary Stampeders take on the Eskimos.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. How am I going to survive an entire day of football? That’s where I’m here to help.
Before Week 13 begins on Friday night (BC hosts the REDBLACKS to kick off the week) make sure your TSN CFL Fantasy roster is set. And then keep an eye on your roster throughout the tripleheader. Assuming most of your players will be in action on Saturday, you’re going to rack up a lot of points in one day.
Plus, this week’s fantasy winner will win $1,000! Make sure you set your roster early so you don’t forget and if you’re not signed up yet, it’s not too late! Click here to get involved!
Who you watch the games with is important! You’re going to have to choose your buds wisely – make sure you’re watching the games with someone who is in it with you for the long haul! We need commitment, people!
Worried about keeping up with your #GreyCupFitUp commitment? Make your workouts game related!
For every touchdown scored, do pushups. For a rouge? Bicep curls. Squat every time a field goal is made. Plank when a FG is missed.
There are so many options for you to get your 30 minutes of exercise in before the day is done.
Making sure that no one changes the channel is key. You’re going to be tuned in to TSN all day so you won’t need the remote handy. Hide it so there is no possible way that anyone can change the channel.
This is your opportunity to rep all of your CFL gear. If you’re like me, you love the CFL and have swag from every single team. Saturday, you can rock all of it.
Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram @CFL and tweet along with us using the hashtag #CFLGameDay. You can also tweet me, @kcostabile1, I’ll definitely be watching all three games!
What.. did you think I’d do this entire thing without a football cliche?
