Which touchdown celebration was best through Week 13?

Another week, another Winnipeg Blue Bombers victory.

This was the closest margin of victory for The Hippo, with 56 per cent of you deciding you liked it better than the Ticats’ ode to The Replacements.

This week’s challenger is a troll job by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. And let me tell you, it was great.

Before we get to the Riders’ celly, let’s first get a reminder of The Hippo (although at this point, I’m sure you all remember).

At the start of the second quarter against the BC Lions, the Bombers were on the BC four yard line. Andrew Harris took the direct snap on first down and rumbled into the end zone where he began the celebration and his teammates joined in. And so, The Hippo was born.

And now for the challenger.

With just over a minute left in the second quarter, Bombers QB Matt Nichols scrambled in the pocket looking for someone to pass the ball to on the Riders seven yard line. He ended up finding a pair of gloves to pass the ball to, but it wasn’t one of his teammates.

The ball popped out of Nichols’ hands and right into Riders linebacker Sam Eguavoen’s mitts. Eguavoen ran down the field and into the end zone fore the 103-yard score to give Saskatchewan a 20-17 lead.

The last few weeks, the Bombers have been walking up the stairs to celebrate with their fans so the Riders decided, why don’t we do the same? So funny.

Something tells me Bombers fans weren’t too happy about it!

Which celebration did you like the best? Winnipeg’s Hippo or the Riders trolling stair climb?

I’d also like to give an honourable mention to Odell Willis and his sack-trick celly because Odell has more fun than all of us and I love it.
