HAMILTON — In a late development receiver Brandon Banks will not play Saturday vs. the Calgary Stampeders.
The CFL’s second-leading receiver, Banks left last week’s win over the Toronto Argonauts with an apparent groin injury. However, he was expected to play Saturday, listed as a starter on the depth chart.
Word out of @ticats locker room … @speedybanks87 not playing today versus @calstampeders #ticats. So no Banks, no Saunders, no Williams. #CFL

Bank’s absence would continue to hinder an already-injured Ticats receiving corps, with Chris Williams and Jalen Saunders already on the shelf with apparent season-ending injuries.
The Ticats face a stiff test against the CFL’s top defence in the Calgary Stampeders, in a battle of two division leaders. Hamilton is currently tied with Ottawa at the top of the East Division standings.
