Do you ever do something and then immediately regret it? Afterwards you think, ‘d’oh.. why did I do that?’
Mike Daly had that exact feeling on Saturday.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats safety picked off Jonathon Jennings and ran it to the end zone to score his first CFL touchdown. And then, in a whirlwind of excitement, he tossed the ball into the crowd.
It wasn’t until special teams assistant Craig Butler walked up to Daly and said, ‘didn’t you want to keep that ball?’ that he realized he made a mistake.
So Daly went to Twitter on Sunday and put out a cry for help. Return the ball and he’ll trade it for a signed jersey of any player of their choosing.

Daly’s teammate Shamawd Chambers added to the pot, saying he’d add a signed jersey and some Upper Deck trading cards to whoever had the ball.
