The Grey Cup officially arrived in Edmonton on Monday morning, as CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie, Edmonton Eskimos legend Henry “Gizmo” Williams and members of the 3rd Division of the Canadian Armed Forces delivered the trophy to CFB Edmonton to officially kick off Grey Cup Week.
Ambrosie, Williams and select Forces members made a memorable trip over Commonwealth Stadium — the site of Sunday’s 106th Grey Cup — in a tactical helicopter before addressing the Forces personnel at CFB Edmonton.
